I live in
the pristine and forgotten Northeast corner of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. The area has eluded growth, congestion
and crime for many years. I am within one hour of the Huron National Forest and two famous streams for trout fishing.
These would be the Black River and the Au Sable River. Of course we have many state and county forests and many
lakes for fishing and The Great Lake Huron. I can fish for anything from a 39-pound Salmon to little
9-inch Brook Trout while backpacking the great forests or shore lines. I love getting into the out doors and fully
enjoying nature. Backpacking and fishing are only two of the many activities available in this forgotten part of Michigan,
however, they are my favorites. I have included a few photographs of this beautiful area and hope you enjoy seeing them.
